A tragedy worth remembering is that Hewlett Packard and others were going to create and fund a world class tech school in the San Mateo, California, region. Parents, both black and white, argued NIMBY, and the school was never built. The Johnson horror introduced a backlash against poly and tech schools, and it has ever after been to the detriment of America, and to its students.
No none of that will work and hasn’t. And if I told you the real reasons you would not like what I would say.
