Where are the rolling covid death count numbers? How many are still dying from Covid 19 or it’s variants? Must be rare, otherwise we would be hearing about it. People are waking up to the ruse. I’ve noticed that the Freepvacciners have been strangely absent on this forum lately.
I voluntarily took the first and second Moderna shots, then the first booster, and I’m sure you’ll refer to me as a Freepvacciner as I early advocated the shots but only on a voluntary basis, and never for the young. I still believe it provided a benefit in the early pandemic for those at risk, such as myself, but also believe as it mutated the effectiveness lessened while medications improved and further shots are not warranted. I am concerned with more recent statistics showing that not only are the boosters ineffective but likely detrimental.
I continue to believe Trump did the right thing in the beginning to quicken the development and distribution of the shots (agree, not a vaccine). As one at risk due to age and several co-morbidities I continue to believe the original shots were more effective than detrimental to the at risk population such as myself. I voluntarily participated in the Moderna study so I received the shots several months earlier than the initial rollout, and due to a change in job location travelled extensively during the most critical early period and had much higher exposure potential than the general population. I never contracted the original disease, and will credit that to the initial shots. I do believe they saved me from the likelihood of being sick with a substantial risk of dieing or long term effects. As part of the study I was closely monitored for the disease, with regular testing and reporting of any symptoms which would trigger a visit from the study for additional tests. We didn’t know what we were facing early on which is why I volunteered to be a Guinea pig, it was the least I could do. Again, I have always been against anyone being forced to take the shots, and leaned against shots for younger people, always against it for children as there was essentially no risk to them.
While I took the initial booster as part of the study, again months ahead of the general population, I have not taken any further booster shots and am against them. I moved mid last year and thus had to drop from the study, and by that point it seemed the effectiveness of further boosters was in doubt. Even when a booster that was supposedly improved to address variants was available I declined, and ultimately in late October I had my turn at the disease variant. I did get quite sick and as I monitor my oxygen levels could see they were going down. Fortunately I have an oxygen generator in conjunction with my CPAP and so I was able to increase my oxygen while I got prescription medicine early enough to be effective. It was a rough couple of weeks but I stayed out of the hospital. Now having survived the variant I see absolutely no need for any further boosters.
