What I saw when we brought CPR’s into the hospital was people there who would use about about half of their upper body weight and half bent arms which they would try to straighten on each compression.

That is very tiring. Keeping your elbows locked and using the weight of your upper body and a good strong core makes 10 minutes a good workout. Been there done that over a career dating back to the Reagan administration.

Well you are strong. I always had to test with the inner detector telling me to push harder...etc

And how long are the runs? Two minutes?

Anyway at least now I understand what you meant...thanks.

For me, a smaller woman, that 2 minutes was plenty.
