Trump’s bad mouthing DeSantis isn’t playing well with any of the conservatives I know. Handing the opposition free ammo like that is just stupid and divisive. Trump’s picking on a fellow republican on the subject of COVID is a special kind of stupid given his role in bringing the country to a halt by listening to liberal Fauci et. al.

Trump doesn’t care, though. He’s trying to firm up support with his base of Only Trumpers and secret servers in Germany nutballs. He’s just got to get to 50% or so of the primary vote to defeat DeSantis. He knows he’s going to lose some Reagan conservatives to DeSantis so why bother?
Because Trump was supposed to be prescient and see right through the CDC/FDA and just wing it w/o scientific training while the entire establishment predicted catastrophic death tolls. Pull the other one.
