I made a deal to get to raise two more batches of kittens. Hubby wants to put a shop up, but not just that. He wants to concrete the current barn. And get an awning. His toys are very expensive, their storage cost as much as they do.
I asked him to find one thing that I have bought that cost half as much as one of his dozens of items. He couldn’t find one. I should have said I wanted 10 batches of kittens, now that I’m looking at the numbers, LOL. The last five cost $1,700. But that’s only 280 some dollars to save a kitten and get it a really good home. More than worth it. Especially since exporting them will free up a home here for another kitten.
The only ongoing issue is we will probably need to keep the mamas. I haven’t found a shelter up north that will readily take adult kitties.
Hubby was reluctant to agree because he said I would find kittens by the end of the day. But that was yesterday and I haven’t so he was wrong! LOL
