I was always near a beach growing up around Galveston area,but always skittish because my younger sister was the opposite of me and fearless and would go out with her and she always got jelly fish stings!
Since then,stay ankle deep as I got older! ha!

I truly love snorkeling and diving. Warm, salt-water therapy is so relaxing for me. Yes, I've seen sharks, and rays, and barracuda. They have never bothered me so much as I have bothered them. But, not everyone enjoys it. I loathe cold weather. Each to his own.

I much prefer the warm air and salt water, waves, tropical breezes over cold, wind, ice, snow, etc.
