So the vaxx is actually more deadly than the covids
Whatever the virtues of the vax at the time of its creation, there is reason to believe that the risk/reward ratio is different now. The virus is changed, and that means two things:I’m just a layman, but it looks to me like requiring people to take the (“experimental,” remember) vax is anachronistic. I’m “older than dirt,” but I had Omichron about half a year ago - and the symptoms weren’t “all that.”
- immune escape - people have gotten the virus multiple times; even natural immunity doesn’t necessarily confer complete immunity to later variants. And since the vax, any tax, works by inducing a response of the natural immune system - and the vax is limited in the sense that it is designed to be enough different from the actual virus that it does not itself cause sickness in the patient (what would be the point of that?), actually getting the bug itself must stimulate the immune system in a more holistic way and cause the patient’s immune system to do the best it can to prevent a repeat infection.
- changes in the effect of the virus if you do get it. It now seems that nobody much is dying of covid now by the mechanism (roughly, pneumonia) that was killing people in ’20. Reportedly many Chinese are dying due to Covid now - but the government insists that it’s only a few, by the criterion that mechanism we saw in ’20 isn’t happening all that much.
Your mileage may vary.
