The part of the recent Trump interview you never heard...
On Saturday, during his first major campaign swing to New Hampshire and South Carolina, Trump took credit again for helping elevate DeSantis during his 2018 bid for governor, saying “Ron would have not been governor if it wasn’t for me.”
“So when I hear he might run, I consider that very disloyal,” Trump said.
While taking aim at DeSantis, Trump told reporters aboard his plane that Nikki Haley – who served as his ambassador to the United Nations – called him in recent days to inform him that she is considering launching a 2024 presidential bid.
“I talked to her for a little while, I said, ‘Look, you know, go by your heart if you want to run,’” Trump said. “She’s publicly said that ‘I would never run against my president, he was a great president.’”
Trump said he told Haley that she “should do it.”
Haley seems to be a real snake. Fortunately she has little natural constituency to build on.
I like Donald but he better shut up about the disloyalty stuff he keeps talking to Maggie Haberman of the New York Times and she’s only been writing negative stories about him for what 7 years?
Haley = Liz Cheney in drag.
I would not vote for Halley if she were the ONLY R candidate running. Never....

There are 3 who would get my vote, Trump, Pompeo and DeSantis. Tough, smart and battle tested.
There is risk voting for Trump because his negatives are off the charts.....for good reason.
I did see her on Election night 2020 having multiples because Joe Biden won. She was so thrilled. And Trump was right- who would want to have to look at that face everyday.
A crowded primary field will benefit Trump. The "Not Trump" candidates will cancel each other out while at the same time blunting Ron DeSantis' reach should he throw his hat in. Trump wins by attrition.
This is exactly why he encouraged Haley to "follow her heart" and run. She's no competition to him but she helps his race.
I certainly am not going to follow that woman, that is for certain.
Trump is the only bright star above the horizon.
