Know a lot very smart folks. Some got the shot and some didn’t but can’t really identify the difference in education or intelligence between the two groups that was the deciding factor for either.

My armchair factor is one word: wives.
I know of two men who were not excited about the shots, but got them because their wives bought in completely.
Fortunately, my wife and I are on the same page. This is despite the fact that I am unemployed and several jobs I would have applied for require shots.

I'd say their general outlook is a bit too trusting...and a lack of critical thinking. The news they watch & their circle of friends and onlines were saying/getting vaxxed so they did, too.

That’s because neither intelligence nor education have a damn thing to do with it.
It was all about situational awareness. Common sense. Ability to relate cause to effect over time.
You know, those things the “intelligent” generally lack and “education” tries to remove from their victims’ mindset.

I do too.
You can be book smart, and you can even be street smart, but you can still let your guard and skepticism down when it comes institutions and figures of authority. Even very smart people.
The same gullible ignorami who actually think that shovel ready stimulus bills and infrastructure bills (how may have we had since 2008? Like a half dozen for trillions each?) actually fix infrastructure (half our bridges are STILL in bad shape) are the same ignorami who believe figure-heads like Fauci and talking-heads like Lestor Holt when they tell you that vaccines stop the spread, save lives, or reduce symptom severity.
Some people just pay absolutely no attention to the CONSTANT lessons of history. People in positions of power are not benevolent, and in fact, usually much closer to the opposite.

Its not intelligence that saves you from chit like govt kill programs. Its discernment. And a healthy dose of disrespect for authority.

It is difficult to know the level of resistance against brainwashing any given individual has, without watching them react to brainwashing first.
