My god what is the controversy. A man has a penis, and a woman has a vagina, it's that simple.

Dear god, we have a SCOTUS judge who does not know the difference.

Mods pull if you wish.

Naa, it’s IMPORTANT to have this discussion as some here have trouble supporting a leader who wants to preserve the roles of the sexes, or at least not let cross-dressers get in the way.

Yes, it’s what you have when you come out of a natural born woman’s womb.

(residence, membership, or occupation???) that’s weird.

The Webster definition is conventional. First it says a woman is a female. Then it explains how ‘woman’ is combined with other words such as ‘councilwoman’.

Its #1 definition of ‘female’ is “of, relating to, or being the sex that typically has the capacity to bear young or produce eggs”

They wander into the meaning of ‘gender identity’. That definition is

“a person’s internal sense of being male, female, some combination of male and female, or neither male nor female”

One of John Lennon’s best written, late career songs was named “Woman”.
Very humm-able melody, similar to his earlier Revolver style. No preaching. No Yoko.

While working at one of my stops yesterday, I saw a “woman” who could die of prostate cancer.

Here's a two-sided bestseller from 1954:

Woman--Jose Ferrer with Rosemary Clooney

Man--Rosemary Clooney with Jose Ferrer

Both were enjoyable.
“Woman”, from Jose sounded like a jovial drinking song.

“Man” from Rosemary was quite nice. She had a wonderfully clear voice. A very natural manner of singing, she projects without having to yell it out. Who, does she sound like?....I know!

In this song, Rosemary sounded almost exactly like
Doris Day sounded during the 1950’s when she did lots of lounge tunes and blues songs. Doris also had a fine voice for performing. It was a surprise to me.
The lyrics in
Man” are lighthearted, but they were fully thought out.

Doris covered a song called ‘Everybody Loves A Lover!’ showing the same pep in her step.

Everybody Loves a Lover (1958) was Doris' last smash hit. Perhaps more importantly, it made the Oldies charts, so it continued to get airplay over the subsequent decades earning her a boatload of bucks.
