Dry ice doesn’t melt. It sublimes directly from frozen CO2 to gaseous CO2 skipping the liquid step.

More like “science illiterate” reporter. I remember fooling around with dry ice in junior high science class & now do similar with my elementary-school granddaughters, including discussing sublimation.
