Joe Biden toured with the Eagles from 73-74. It’s no joke. My word as a Biden.

Technically, yeah. But he was only a roadie.

"Technically, yeah. But he was only a roadie. "

Only a "roadie"?

Joey Biden was the spiritual heart and soul of that band. Sure, he drove their 18-wheeler and made all their train-travel arrangements with Angelo, the conductor, but he was so much more! In fact, there might not have even been an Eagles band if Joe hadn't introduced Henley to Linda Ronstadt at the "Enchantment Under the Sea" dance in 1955. Furthermore, the song "Take it Easy" was written by Glenn Frey and Jackson Browne in tribute to the mighty contributions to music that Biden had made. He was the best man when Henley married Stevie Nicks for goodness sake!

The only reason the Eagles got back together, in 1986, was because Joe needed an operation for complications from sickle cell anemia, which he had contracted as a young black student at Delaware State University. Reagan's racist healthcare system wouldn't pay for it. And yet, you say, "only a roadie"...c'mon, man!
