The music video for this song is pretty clever in that it is on a split screen with a continous shot in each frame, showing a boy and a girl trying to meet up with each other but constantly missing each other by seconds.

Semisonic was a great band. Their “Chemistry” is also a fantastic tune. Miss that whole era of indie pop bands.

It’s so weird that you’re posting this. We heard this song come on the radio as we were coming back from Texas, and I hadn’t heard it before (I was a kid in the ‘90’s, and my parents listened to the music from the ‘60’s and ‘70’s in the car growing up).

What’re the odds?
