Oh yeah, I’ve seen the open books distraction plenty. Once a young woman had her feet against the dash, with a book laying against the steering wheel.
I always glance at what is next to me. Situational awareness. Nuts behind the wheel are everywhere.
Grew up in a wrecker business and have always built my own 50s, 60s, and 70s classics as daily drivers. Flip them when I get a good offer and build another one. Still to date I have not had one daily driver that had computerized engine management or was made of plastic. I still use bumper jacks... :)
If you're really smart you ride motorcycles and know how to not die on them. Or have a chauffeur.
People who drive Dodge chargers and challengers are the dumbest a holes that have ever lived.

The levels of stupid, and general lack of concern about others on the road is jaw dropping.

I dont know the answer to that but I do know this. Anyone driving slower than me, is an idiot and anyone driving faster, is a maniac!!

Last July I rented a couple different auto on a business trip. The second leg I had a dark Red Challenger. It was a beautiful car in appearance. A real head turner. Of course, it did not have the HEMI engine.
However, it handled like crap. Frankly, I was more impressed with the Ford Escape that I had rented on the first part of the business trip.
Quick tip: seek an alternate road if you see a car marked with “All Asian Driving School.”
“Wait, what? The highest group still scored below 100? How does that happen?”
Smarter people had better things to do than take part in this survey.

They used to make T-38s. That’s why Hitler wanted to take Czechoslovakia. The chassis were pretty good and they were used for self propelled artillery.
They used T-38s as MBTs for a couple Panzer divisions even into Barbarossa.
