Navy Divers used to have some pretty kinky hazing rituals for newly minted divers, too. Very sexual, very strange, very nasty, from what I gathered. My first husband was a Navy Diver. He wouldn’t tell me what the hazing was, but I knew a couple of them that dropped various hints over the years, and... some men are very strange people.
There is definitely an undercurrent of homosexuality.
