Saturday night and here is one of the better modern country songs you will hear these days.
Don't know much about Megan Moroney but she's got a winner here. A song about a Georgia girl whose father is a rabid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs college football team.
She falls in love with a Tennessee boy and ends up wearing the colors of the Bulldogs arch-rival, the Tennessee Volunteers from the University of Tennessee for her new boyfriend.
She is concerned that her Daddy will "blow a fuse" when he finds out but she has made her choice to wear the colors of her new boyfriend's favorite football team. A team that her Daddy obviously hates with a passion.
Though she still wants the "Dogs" to win, she is now wearing the colors of her boyfriend's Tennessee team. She has submitted to her man and hopes that her father understands.

It wasn't until I was halfway through the song that I realized she was talking about allegiance to a college football team!
Well written song in my opinion. I like it even though I know nothing about the two football teams that are mentioned. Never was a college football fan.
She can wear any hat 🎩 she wants. Wowsers, That chic has got the looks.
I think we will hear more from her.
