I recall a western from the 30's, that I saw in the early 70's that starred Tommy Noonan with John Wayne as an "also starring".
Can't find it on IMDb.

If you have Roku, there are a ton of old John Wayne westerns from before he “made it” with “Stagecoach” in 1939. Most are pretty trite and shallow; but for the day they were very popular as matinee fare in the movie theaters. Typically they ran for just under an hour.

Tommy Noonan? born 1921. Child actor in the ‘30? Not likely headlined above John Wayne, who was in 50 movies before ‘Stagecoach’ in ‘39.
