Not to be negative, but

I can't see how the USA is experiencing a manufacturing renaissance of any type.

Sending 31 Abrams isn't a lot really. And we're not sure which version they'll get. Probably some currently in Europe somewhere.
We're sending them because of the Germans and who knows how long they'll last. We didn't want to send them. I hope the Germans send the Leo 2A6 but they'll probably be 2A4s.

The only people fighting in Ukraine are Russians and Ukrainians. At least I don't know of any Western country sending troops in so the West is mia.

Sending military hardware to help Ukrainians does hurt Russia and uses up some of their weapons. But, the Russians have been known to be the leader in quantity of weapons produced. We are not bombing their manufacturing facilities and last I checked they are getting what they need regardless of embargo.

I think Russia's biggest problems are morale and leadership at the tactical level. To me, the biggest problems facing Putin involve taking care of and leading his troops.

I said reinvigorated with new plants and production rates.

Russian sales will plummet, where are their new tanks and artillery and shells and winter gear, missiles, and everything else? The sanctions are hurting them in replacement of equipment and they are scouring the planet for their old weapons to issue to their frontline troops.

America is emptying the old dusty warehouses and replacing the stock with new and updated weapons, missiles, and shells with the manufacturers increasing production and filling new foreign orders as Europe dumps all their old Russian gear and replaces it with mostly American equipment.

To a degree European countries are having a similar boost, but here are a few American examples.

“American defense industry ushers in a new age of missile sales”
“The Defense Department will fund new facilities to make artillery ammunition”
“Pentagon Will Increase Artillery Production Sixfold for Ukraine”
“US Arms Sales Shoot up Nearly 50 Percent in 2022, Driven in Part by Ukraine”
“U.S. weapons sales in Europe are booming”
“Ukraine, Asia Drove 50% Increase in FY22 Arms Sales”
