PSU has won 9 of the past 11 team Championships and had 5 Individual Champions last season. Iowa is a great Dual team, but....it's Penn State.
I know they are crazy, but I can’t help but like the Brands brothers.
I can’t help but not like them.
Sanderson is a Hawkeye. His career from high school to now is such a dominant freak show, but so few know of him.
Watching scantily clad guys grapple with each other in public. Eeeuww, gross!
Ivan count the one obvious win for Iowa and the three obvious wins for Penn state. The rest I don’t know. I’m traveling today hopefully I can find the big ten network in my hotel room
I wasn’t a wrestling fan but I read about him in Sports Illustrated in college and knew he was a top wrestler.
“I wear the required uniform.”
“Tights...”
I thought he was Iowa State?...
Yeah - Cael was born in Utah I think and wrestled at ISU. Not sure how that makes him a Hawkeye. I wish he was - it would make the last 11 seasons even sweeter.
I don’t know anything except Dan Gable, Cael Sanderson, and the crazy DuPont killer.
I think I remember seeing Sanderson on the cover of SI and his colors were a dark red and yellow.
Tied score 5-5 with two bouts down. Both by pins.
No. Lee’s win was a Tech Fall. RBY’s was a Fall. 6-5 PSU after two matches.
“Sanderson is a Hawkeye. ”
Gosh that’s odd .
I went to everyone of his matches when he wrestled for IOWA STATE.
Even had him over at our home in AMES!
Your correct I missed the first bout, and the lettering and my eyes aren’t what they use to be.
PSU just pulled a redshirt at 157. Surprising. Levi Haines. Let's see how he does.
I said “pulled”, I guess “burned” would be the more correct description.
Sanderson was a Cyclone and wrestled at Iowa State. He’s from Utah.
