Headed to Summit County/ Copper Mountain the latter part of March. Sounds like it could quit snowing now and there would still be enough snow for skiing at the end of March.

On that trip we are supposed to snowmobile up to the continental divide and get a view of Rabbit Ears Pass. Have been through the pass several years ago by car. Looking forward to vacation. Already been a tough year at work.

Tons of snow... watch out for avalanches - bring friends / spotters , beacons, shovels, water, satellite phone, warm gear to spend the night, etc..

The are outfitters in Steamboat that rent out snow machines for running around that huge bowl at the top of Rabbit Ear Pass.

Skiing is going to be outrageously good if a person can keep from being a popsicle. Sounds like Winter Park and Mary Jane will also be good powder.
