Breaking a traffic law and “trespassing” (if it even was that), does not justify physically injuring someone, or creating the conditions that will almost certainly lead to injuring some one.
Booby traps that can cause serious injury are not legal anywhere.
I see lots roped up all the time. People rope them off for a reason. Speeding across a lot is also dangerous to others who could be coming out of establishments those lots are for.
