The officers have three to six years of experience. Since the Ferguson Effect kicked off in 2014, many urban police departments can't hire or retain enough qualified officers.
Two of the officers dealing with St. George Floyd of Fentanyl in Minneapolis were rookies. The black one had all of four days on patrol before George Floyd overdosed. They charged him and sent him to prison while decrying "racism".
