The Ministry of Defense financed the production of domestic artillery systems in the spring of 2022. Therefore, the Western tanks that Ukraine will receive from its allies will be supported by Ukrainian artillery at the front.

This was announced by the minister of defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov, reports censor.No.

Western tanks will be supported by Ukrainian artillery: Reznikov showed Bogdan 01 self-propelled guns

The minister noted that the Ukrainian Self-Propelled Gun “Bogdana” caliber 155-mm successfully passed tests on the battlefield. The Ministry of Defense financed new artillery systems in the spring of 2022. “Western-made tanks, which will arrive in a few months, will be supported at the front by Ukrainian – in every sense of the word - artillery,” he stressed.

“The Ministry of defense did not advertise this, but all last year we did not stop purchasing weapons and military equipment from domestic manufacturers. Where possible, within the scope of competence, they promoted deployment to new locations and increased capacity.

Also last year, after a critical period when a significant amount of resources was allocated for the import of necessary for defense, the Ministry of Defense prepared a transition so that in 2023 the maximum amount of funds would be allocated to Ukrainian producers. This applies to all components – from uniforms, shoes, bulletproof vests and UAVs to heavy weapons and ammunition,” Reznikov wrote on Facebook.

According to Reznikov, Ukraine should be as independent as possible in all components of defense provision, where possible.

“This makes our country a desirable partner, strengthens our position. That is why the Ministry of Defense will increase its efforts in the context of stimulating Ukrainian producers,” the resident of the Ministry of Defense explained.

He got a vacation in January. On the last day of vacation, in front of his mother, he jumped out of the window - from the 10th floor. According to the woman, her son complained that he was under constant pressure from the Kadyrov soldiers. It is possible that he was mocked. Chronicles of Russian mobilization”

Very interesting that Ukraine is able to revive some of their defense industry in the face of the Russian attacks. I had assumed they still had some of the people to do it (probably 60+ year old engineers and techs!), but while getting pounded...

Also interesting that Ukraine (they say) was able to shoot down all the Iranian drones. Granted I missed how many(?) and any notion how they did it.

Did the German announcement of tanks to Ukraine coincide with Zelenskyy’s birthday?
