Odd that some folks seem unable to call it a day.....
Does he need more stats or more money?
Is it worth the injury risk?

Only one year ago he had one of his best years statistically, two years ago he led a second tier team to a Super Bowl NFL Championship.

This year wasn't great, and he doesn't want to end on that note. He is in utterly uncharted territory, and he won't be able to do this again when he eventually ages out. He decided it was worth the injury risk when he decided to be a starting NFL QB.

Peyton Manning's neck injury led to warnings that if he came back, that he could easily have catastrophic health consequences. He came back and got a second Super Bowl with another team, then retired.

Brady's wife abandoned him. His kids and football are what's left.

As a Rams fan, I am certainly not a Brady fan. He does, however, have my respect.

"Brady's wife abandoned him."

Poor Tom, all he wanted was to be away from his family for just a few more seasons so he can set some more meaningless records. The rest of the boys went home for dinner while Tommy sits on the curb under the streetlight thinking, "I wonder what the record is for staying out past bedtime?...
