posting an article that gives neutral or positive information about vaccines is not a personal attack on the small percent of unvaccinated. Why some unvaccinated take it that way and get all anger defensive attacking the poster with INCAPS namecalling instead of posting a counterargument or opinion on the subject matter itself is a mystery to me. Especially considering FR is a christian-centric website.

As for mandates, bring a kid with rubella to my pregnant daughter’s house and you’ll see mandates in action real quick. This article isn’t about ‘madates’ but when the vaccine was new, 30K a week were dropping dead and we had zero defenses, mandates made sense. When there is no way to shelter all the millions of elderly or at risk people, there will always be a time and place for mandates of one form or another.

As to respect, the pandemic has been inconvenient to everyone. Even so, society has done a pretty good job of respecting the unvaccinated. Unfortunately it hasn’t been reciprocal. The infirm were shut in their houses or nursing homes for over a year. The unvaccinated didn’t care. Many who rejected mandates were accommodated by allowing them to work at home. Now those same folks don’t want to come to the office at all. Social distancing was in lieu of mandates, too, but now folks don’t want to social distance either. Opposition to the covid vaccine morphed into opposition to any vaccine. Considering an overwhelming majority have been vaccinated for covid over the last two years, and are interested in hearing about new developments in the fight against covid, maybe the “sanctimonious” unvaccinated invested in vaccine-shaming should stop pounding the victim drum so loudly.

WOW, I must have really hit a nerve.

I started off with respecting your right to choose. That doesn’t sound like an attack.

Next, I made a general comment, maybe a bit of venting about the “cult of the vax” and you took it as a personal attack. I don’t see where I called you out specifically. A bit of projecting with your response?

Okay, if you want to be picky, I did start my third statement off with the word “YOU”. My Bad.

Again, back to my original third statement about respecting YOUR right to choose. Respect goes both ways and asking for that from you along with the rest of those who chose to take the vax is somehow beating the victim drum. I seem to recall a recent article in the Atlantic where the vaxxed are asking for amnesty for their mistakes in handling the scamdemic.

Lastly, it was the Vaxxed who wanted the unvaxxed interned in camps, denied the right to work, to buy or to sell. Someone famous (Joey Crappy Pants) said he wanted to make the lives of the unvaxxed hard.

Now THAT I take as a personal attack.

And just for your edification, I’m not anti-vax. I’m anti-Covid vax.

Have a Good Day
