An “assault pistol” under that Act only included the following:

(1) IMI UZI.
(2) Encom MP-9 and MP-45.
(3) The following MAC types:
(A) RPB Industries Inc, sM10 and sM11.
(B) SWD Incorporated M-11.
(C) Advance Armament Inc. M-11.
(D) Military Armament Corp. Ingram —11.
(4) Intratec TEC-9.
(5) Sites Spectre.
(6) Sterling MK-7.
(7) Calico M-950.
(8) Bushmaster Pistol.

I’ve seen nothing confirming that Sheriff Luna meant one of those specifically identified weapons.

The term “assault pistol” has been on their books since ‘89? And it hasn’t become a common part of the progressive gun grabbing lexicon in all that time?

Has California statute included terms like assault pointed stick or assault shoe?
