USB cable to steal a car? The old GM cars of the 60’s-2000 could be stolen with a screw driver. We had to add a hot switch to the ignition coil power to prevent them from being stolen but then you had to buy a new key switch or even steering column depending on damage done by the attempted thief.
Can’t believe, well I can, that the Koreans would make them that easy to steal!

I was able to hot wire my ‘66 Dodge Dart with copper wire and a couple of alligator clips. The alternator gauge ran hot on Mopars of that era, and the under dash was wide open.

A guy in the dorm was smarter than that. His car was stolen and recovered. He just used a screwdriver to start it when he needed to go somewhere.

Older GM cars could be stolen if you had about any old set of GM keys.

USB cable to steal a car?

Yeah. Just the end of the cable, too. Doesn't have anything plugged into it. The standard USB cable end fits into a spot behind ignition slot in the column behind the key socket. Break the column to access this spot, break the steering lock, insert USB cable end (could really use a screwdriver, but a standard USB cable fits the little rectangular receptacle perfectly and they're ubiquitous and innocuous). Turn the ignition and have fun.
