Chinese high schoolers learn quantum mechanics and high level calculus, while our kids try to figure out what bathrooms to use. They have to compete for university seats, or be branded as a loser.

This isn’t TikTok’s fault. It the PARENTS FAULT.

I see more conservative info on TikTok than Twitter, by far, and much less censorship than Facistbook. Anti vax threads are allowed. The truth about Covid is allowed. The liberals are shouted down there - with facts.

The software for TikTok came from Vine (formerly part of Twitter). I’m hoping Elon revives it at Twitter.

It’s a free market folks, if you want something better, invent it. But calling for banning it is a knee jerk libtard response. Yes, even when Trump says so.

You capitalized the word parents. We won’t grow competently engaged, achieving PARENTS if they’re addicted as children to Tik Tok & other social hangouts.

The Chinese appear to be combating ‘net generated sloth and apathy, though not for the common good. “You change the world by indoctrinating it’s children.” As is their habit, the Chinese plan unfolds over time, while US leaders look little past the next election.

These respective boats have already sailed. Their specific destinations, while unknown to me, are nonetheless likely inalterably charted.

Some US pols speak against Tik Tok specifically, and other social sites. I wish them some sort of success, and soon. Those boats are on their ways...
