[FLASHBACK] Barr: ‘Unprecedented’ Trump Had Classified Docs in a Country Club

Former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr said Friday on FNC’s “America Reports” that it is “unprecedented” that former President Donald Trump had classified material at his Florida estate and he “jerked around” the Department of Justice for a year while they tried to recover the documents.

Sandra Smith asked, “Do you think this type of this raid was avoidable? Do you think a second subpoena, for example, could have been issued?”

Barr said, “I personally think for them to have taken things to the current point, they probably have pretty good evidence, but that’s speculation. And until we see that, it’s hard to say.”

He added, “Now, let me just say, I think the driver on this from the beginning was, you know, loads of classified information sitting in Mar-a-Lago. People say this was unprecedented, but it’s also unprecedented for a president to take all this classified information and put him in a country club.

The incompetent hack who appointed Barr wants us to give him the keys back? Yeah, I’ll urgently take the incompetent hack who appointed him not knowing he was a shill over the people he’s shilling for, but isn’t it time we find someone who is both on our side AND competent?

I thought the term was “sold up the river”, as in to turn in escaped convicts or slaves back to where they escaped from. Now I’m curious if I’m wrong. I’ll have to look up this Americana colloquialism’s etymology.

Well, his father did hire Jeffery Epstein as a teacher at the school where he was Headmaster.

Completely coincidental connection…

So the question is: Why did Trump appoint him? Why pick one of the worst losers of the George H. W. Bush administration? For someone who railed against the Deep State, why pick the most Deep-State-y Deep Stater that Deep-Throated the State?

Seriously, look at Barr’s record:

Domestic CIA spook during Watergate.

Lawyer for Pillsbury Winthrop, the law firm with nuclear regulators, nuclear reactor operators and Chinese government officials as clients.

Office of Legal Counsel for Pres. George H. W. Bush

Attorney General for George H. W. Bush, championed by Senator Joseph Biden.

Thwarted indictments of BCCI, the Saudi-inflitrated bank illegally manipulating assets.

Here’s the all-time WTF for Trump: initiated a phone surveillance program back in 1991.

Founding chairman and CEO of Verizon

Board member, Time Warner

Well Mr. Barr, the only “jerk around” is apparently you. On second thought in my humble opinion you are actually a horse ass

Same mistake they all make, they think if they are on the team they will be loyal. Just like when the GOP tries to be friendly with the media thinking they'll get good coverage, never happens. The enemy is always the enemy.

You forgot to list Hlary’s server. Others also had servers.

Barr is a complete A-hole.

I think there are two not unrelated issues:

Trump was an outsider: finding people that were experienced enough within the system AND NOT deep staters was like searching for unicorns (c.f. the hot crazy scale).

The Russian hoax was designed to limit his ability to appoint the person he would prefer. McConnell was deep state friendly and wanted someone he would approve of. Trump was probably concerned that if he pissed Mitch off, he could convince enough Republicans to remove him from office.

That would be sold down the river, aka the Mississippi. From the north back to the south slave holding states.

This fat POS is nothing more than a deep state blow hard! Remember? He was in charge when he declared that there was no election fraud in 2020 without even looking!

I know. That is a MONSTROUSLY large flaw of Trump: he thinks yes-men are loyal. The fact that he hadn’t learned better by the time he selected Barr is inexcusable. Trump did a FANTASTIC job at defining our goals. Now we need COMPETENCE.
