That was a robot which the cops had just thrown inside. He picked it up and walked to the door with his hands up - with it in his hand. But, it belonged to the police. They had just thrown it.

A robot? Really? Wow... so this was a standoff going on for a while then? I was under the impression they woke him up and this was him stumbling to the door in that first 30 seconds.
The way he was turning on lights as he walked through that room.

If that is what happened then all the more, these clowns should fry because they are supposed to protect citizens not attempt to kill them.

DesertRhino is right about effective and correct Police methods and procedures.   If police use robots to determine there is no immediate threat, they should immediately order all officers to stand down. And they should especially expect that a person might pick up one of their little toys which clearly had a light on it.

This is a horror.   There but by the Grace of God...
