I would feel bad for the Cowboy’s... Except that I don’t.
Jerry keeps spending, spending and spending... But the end result is always losing, losing and losing.
Owners don’t throw the ball, catch the ball or run the ball... But they do overpay people who can’t do any of those things very well either. The good news... He’s providing the NFL with former players like Romo... Who can talk very intelligently about a game that that they couldn’t play very intelligently.
Well he needs to start spending, spending, spending on all of his illegitimate kids.
The Cowboy’s biggest problem is that Jerry doesn’t see the correlation between Dallas’ lack of success in post-season and the the tenure of Jerry’s ownership. With the exception of the initial 2-3 years where Dallas’ success was a carry-over from the previous ownership, JJ has created an environment wherein no really inspirational coaching leadership would want to join.
Much has to change before Dallas will have the success they had 30 years ago especially in the upper echelon of club ownership / management.
I believe that JJ is happy with the current situation wherein the team plays winning season football but are not post-season contenders. The “we’ll get em next year” attitude keeps the revenue stream from jerseys, TV revenue, and ticket sales flowing in.
