Ankle can go either way. Ask Lamar. That second, late-season sprain is probably putting him on another team next year, and probably not one he can take to the Super Bowl.

Not that that is happening to Mahomes, whose 10-year stretches to 2030, but not everyone on the Cheaps has the same: JuJu Smith is on a year-to-year; Valdes is in the middle of a 3-year; and Kelce's extension expires in 2025. Mahomes wants that 2nd win and HoF first-rounder, he better lay it all down vs. the Bengals.

At least Mahomes doesn’t rely as much on his legs, so he could still be serviceable. But it’s harder when you rule out the chance of him running, even if he doesn’t do it a lot.

Mahomes played through what was a season ending injury for Lamar.
F Lamar - Ravens need to tag and trade that wuss.
He missed the last 5 games 2 straight years.
Quit on his team and the fanbase.
