Remember after recovery crying for a drink of water. Nurse said I couldn’t have any. Doctor finally said. Give her some water. I promptly threw up blood all over myself and my crib ( looked like a crib anyway) Scared the dozen of parents in the children’s dormitory they had us all in.
Wow...I had a similar experience with thirst. Only the nurse told me to “SHUT UP”.
