I was in Poland last summer, every Pole I met supported helping the Ukrainians, there was no bitterness between Poles and Ukrainians

Well, that's a change of heart, because my Ukrainian grandmother did not have that attitude. My dad was Ukrainian and my mom was Polish and it did not make for warm fuzzies between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.

It was primarily my grandmother, though. My mom had nothing against Ukrainians nor do I recall her Polish family. But my grandmother was from the old country.

The aforementioned “Wolyn” movie involved a mixed-marriage couple, she was Polish and he was Ukrainian.

I thought “Come and See” was a brutal movie, this easily topped it.
