Look—we will know for sure soon enough.
The moon will be explored by private companies and China at a minimum—and the Apollo seven high poker hand bluff will be laid upon the table for all to see.

Do you believe the published images of the Apollo landing sites are fake?
It’s a yes or a no question.
I believe your interpretation of the published images of the Apollo landing sites do not show what you believe they show:
This is like the “face on Mars” discussion.
The “face” is not “real” or “fake”—there are merely correct and incorrect interpretations of what is shown there.
Real astronauts will walk on the alleged landing sites and the debate will be over...
Apollo attempted to achieve the impossible given the technology of the time.
Photos cannot make the impossible possible.

You believe thousands and thousands of people intimately involved in the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs, some of the finest minds produced by this country, were all liars.
And all the test pilots. Many combat veterans. Cold warriors. Deeply patriotic people like Bill Anders, Jim Lovell and Frank Borman, who bravely crewed the first Saturn V launch, and left earth orbit for the first time in human history, and orbited the Moon on Christmas Eve, 1968.
You believe all that, and everything since was a hollywood production? That’s insane.
The lunar surveyor satellite photographs show exactly what they should show. Weird, isn’t it? There’s no optical illusion, they illustrate that the landings occurred, because all the hardware is sitting there, the lower stages of the LM, the tracks, the moon rovers, everything.
I believe in compartmentalization.
It is how all military and intelligence operations work.
Those who need to know—know.
Those who do not need to know—do not know.
That is how secrets are kept in large organizations.
There is nothing “crazy” about it.
I guess if the Apollo program was a secret, you might have a point.
You wanna whose space program was a secret? The Soviet Union, that’s who. They didn’t tell anybody what they were doing, or when. We had to find out when something blew up from intelligence agencies, sometimes years later.
Compare the American program. Everything was above board, published, televised, and millions of press and spectators from around the world watched the very public launches into space at cape Kennedy.
Was JFK in on it too? Was that a factor in his murder down in Dallas? How about Grissom, White, Chaffee. Did they fake those guys dying on the launch pad, or did they have to die to keep it real?
JFK was not in on it. When he made his announcement almost all scientists and engineers in the field thought he was absolutely insane—but LBJ loved the idea of funneling funds to Texas for the program—whether it worked or not.
LBJ thought it was a joke early on, but was not certain that it was impossible until 1967. From that point on the the military and CIA were authorized to make “other arrangements”.

There is a lot of solid information available about who knew what and when they knew it—but of course the standard mass media outlets are not sharing that information—you have to dig a little bit.

I’m still amused that you suggest that the lunar mapping satellite images that clearly show the Apollo landing sites are somehow ambiguous.
You must have never looked at them.
Have you actually looked at them?
There’s no question they show the lower stages of the Grumman lunar modules, the ALSEP gear, the lunar rovers, the tracks, even foot trails. Everything.
You must believe these are fake, there’s no other explanation.
I have seen the photographs.
I don’t know their history or chain of custody—and I talk straight. If I don’t know something I will tell you that.
What I know for certain is that the technology did not exist in the 1969 to 1973 period to put men on the moon.
Photographs cannot make the impossible become possible.
That is all I know.
You’re just being purposefully obtuse, or pulling everybody’s chain.
What will prove it to you going forward, then? I mean, since in your view everything is unknowable, maybe they are still faking it?
Would you have to go there yourself?
