It's not about "education" or "tolerance," and it's not benign.
Those who have voiced concerns about the dangers that drag events, such as Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH), pose for children (namely, sexualization and grooming) have been told that those concerns are baseless, that the events are harmless, that it is all just entertainment and fun, and that attending drag events is a way to understand the gay culture.
On January 25, 2021 an academic paper entitled Drag Pedagogy: the Playful Practice of Queer Imagination in Early Childhood," was published online in Curriculum Inquiry, an educational journal. The paper, recently called out by James Lindsay here and here and also by Christopher Rufo here, was written by Harper Keenen and Lil Miss Hot Mess (a founder of DQSH), who describe themselves as "a genderqueer drag performer/scholar and a trans scholar" (p.443).
Right off the bat, the abstract tells us the purpose of DQSH:
Ultimately, the authors propose that "drag pedagogy" provides a performative approach to queer pedagogy that is not simply about LGBT lives, but living queerly. (p. 440)
Then the authors state,
Through this programme, drag artists ... [are] positioning queer and trans cultural forms as valuable components of early childhood education. We are guided by the following question: what might Drag Queen Story Hour offer educators as a way of bringing queer ways of knowing and being into the education of young children?
The purpose of DQSH is not entertainment, nor to understand gay culture. The purpose is to turn children "queer" through an educational process.

ALL parents who take their kids to these things are EVIL, VILE and PSTUPID, and need I say DEMONCRATS!
Children are impressionable. That is how they are designed to be so that they may learn from their parents. But evil people can use this trait to their own advantage. This is how the Left indoctrinates children into a communist belief system, and now it’s how homosexuals are indoctrinating children into their own perverted lifestyle.

How God is still holding back on judging this nation is beyond me.

Good article. Big takeaway: The LGBLT movement is an attack on capitalism and the individual freedoms it requires. Just recently a hockey player refused to wear a gay pride shirt and was attacked by the gay red guard. Theses people are commies.

As Ukraine fights for survival, it has relaxed some barriers to the social inclusion of gay, lesbian and other gender and sexual minorities — for example, welcoming some gay people into its armed forces. Yet this change should be expanded and made permanent. Often countries recruit marginalized minorities during wartime emergencies only to revive old practices of exclusion in peacetime. The more inclusive democracy that Ukraine aspires to, and that its transatlantic allies support bringing into full membership of Europe, will require transformations in laws, institutions and social norms for the equal inclusion of Ukrainian gender and sexual minorities.
