Even if it was legal, I would probably carry concealed. Why advertise, and put a target on my back for a bad guy to see and possibly try to take my weapon.

A retention holster would help to prevent him from taking your weapon. There are 4 levels of retention holsters:

Normally LEOs carry with a Level 4 (Definition A) retention holster.
