My dad was good friends with Tex Schramm from high school. When my dad had a heart attack, Tex Schramm was the only person who visited him in the hospital- except for family. I was lucky enough to go to Tex’s home in Newport Beach a couple times - off the charts Cowboys memorabilia there!
Cowboys’ organization back then had class. Something that is sadly lacking in today’s Cowboys’ organization.
