I was in DC once, and on my way back to the hotel we stopped at this 2 story McDonald’s. I go back to work in TN and am chatting with a guy who lived in the area. He tells of the time that he tried to go to this McDonald’s, but there was a gang war going on INSIDE it, so he went somewhere else. “It was scary. It was a 2-story one down near DC”.

I will bet that was the McD’s at the corner of New York Ave. and the Bladensburg Road. That is a very bad neighborhood indeed.
