Interesting they should mention Mickelson with the contracts when Greg Norman is the CEO of LIV.

Mickelson has no need for money, his estimate at low numbers is $300 million of worth and is number three on the highest paid athletes list for 2022. He’s playing because he can no longer really be competitive on the American PGA tour and doesn’t want to go to the seniors.

Pro golf is the most lucrative of all sports. And the game isn’t near all they are getting for the business. According to Golf Digest, there are currently 556 millionaires carrying a tour card. The top three in earnings are Woods, Nicklaus, and Palmer all in excess of $1 Billion. Jack is the top as with his course design company, (Nicklaus Design), and Golden Bear products like clothing and equipment, and endorsements with big companies, such as Rolex and Perry Ellis, he was in control of a lot more. His average salary now is listed as $400 million annually as he has been restructuring the businesses to his kids as his health continues to limit him.

I get the feeling Phil is going the way of Jack slowly as his ego slows and he considers it’s easier, and more fun and lucrative, to play when you don’t have to.

We all know Phil joined LIV for several reasons... That would be the several millions that he’s lost while gambling... The good news... He now has several million more to lose.
