"The film’s first assistant director, David Halls, has agreed to plead guilty to the charge of negligent use of a deadly weapon"

Under New Mexico Statutes Chapter 30. Criminal Offenses § 30-7-4, Negligent use of a deadly weapon is a petty misdemeanor, not a felony. Petty misdemeanors are punishable by up to 182 days in jail and a fine of up to $500.

Makes me wonder whether Baldwin was offered the same plea deal as David Hall and he refused it.
