Battery Townsley, located in the Marin Headlands just north and west of San Francisco. The gun areas were covered by giant cement casemates intended to protect the guns from aerial attack.

16" gun installation...

6" gun transported through San Francisco...

You can still see one gun barrel at Battery Townsley...
