My goodness. That’s more than I took (by a lot) while being treated for acute myeloid leukemia and a bone marrow transplant. (And the consequences of the treatment)
It’s like eating a small meal, every morning and evening.
The 23 days I spent in York Hospital’s Oncology/ICU/CCU units were terrible, hooked-up to multiple IVs and monitors; 8 days at PSU-Hershey Med Ctr; 5 days back at York Hospital, 11 days back at PSU-Hershey — 14 ERCP (endoscopy) operations — died 2x under general anesthesia, but ‘twilight anesthesia’ is OK — for an inflamed stomach and pancreas, and I lost 131lbs, from 265 to 134.
5 stents in my heart are working. Off insulin after 2yrs. Using diet to keep BSL (Blood Sugar Level) under control.
Whew, I’m exhausted from walking 2.5 miles at the massive mall, with my ladyfriend.
