I read in one of Roddenberry’s books that they had a tough time shooting that. They’d paint the girl green, and the film would come back from the darkroom looking “normal”. So they’d paint her even greener ... same result. After several iterations, they talked to the darkroom guys. The darkroom guys would process the film, look at it, and say “My gawd, this woman is GREEN!!!” and filter the prints to make her look normal ...
