Until recently, much of Russia’s arms exports relied on Ukraine’s participation and assistance in production. In effect, Ukraine became a subcontractor to Russia’s arms industry. Of course, that relationship is done, and Russia’s arms sales are now in collapse due to sanctions, the lack of manufacturing capacity, and the weak performance of Russian weapons in the attack on Ukraine. India, Russia’s largest arms purchaser, is now buying elsewhere and looking to manufacture domestically.
Your propaganda based on wishful thinking is not very relevant on top of it.
The cooperation ended 9 years ago. I can’t think of any system where the Ukrainian components weren’t replaced.
As for the performance of the weapons the people procuring weapons aren’t interested in popular propaganda as pushed by Daily Mail.
If anything, the war proved that systems like Javelin are snake oil, killing 100 more their operators than they hit tanks, HARM missiles are more than useless against mobile air defenses, and NASAMS are useless against cruise missiles.
I won’t even talk about M113s which fail to start in cold weather and froze to the ground, because it is not a recent technology.
There is a reason why F-16s and Abrams aren’t there, becsuse they’d make a PR disaster.
Nothing like that was discovered about Russian weapons which mostly work as advertised.
