I passed a kidney stone about 20 years ago.

Of course, it happens the day I go on vacation with my family. I'm driving down the highway, like Clark Griswald in those Vacation movies, when suddenly I get this massive pain in my back.

I pull over at a rest area, rolling around the ground, while everybody else thinks I'm a junkie having withdrawal symptoms. My wife is giving me bottle after bottle of water. The kids are mostly disinterested, chasing butterflies and grasshoppers.

Finally I am able to get to the bathroom and pass the stone. I felt so immediately good afterwards that I took the family into a restaurant for a steak dinner. Steak never tasted so good.

Lol- yep- It is amazing how badly a stone even the size of a 1/2 grain of rice can bring life to a near stop- then how good one feels as soon as it’s over- it’s like jekyl and hyde- night and day difference-
