Harold’s book will be in every school library tomorrow because it hits all the right wokey buttons and promotes victimhood.

The guy can write a book and tell personal stories. And people will buy it (and probably not read it).
That’s capitalism.
But it all comes at a cost. Once you make the decision to tell all, you have to own the blowback.
I would gain some respect back for him if he came out and just laughed at how people are “reacting”, toss up a couple middle fingers, and walk away.
Instead, he will go on TV and act “shocked” at the reaction.
He must be stupid.

Penguin Random House announced Wednesday that first-day sales for the Harry’s tell-all memoir topped 1.4 million copies, a record pace for non-fiction from a company that also publishes Barack and Michelle Obama, whose "Becoming" needed a week to reach 1.4 million when it was released in 2018.Who buys these books?!

People will regret wasting even a dime on this tripe. It's like the old Hannity or Morris books I bought during the Obama era. I could not even give those away for free to libraries. Threw them in a give a book take book box. Some I used as fire starters.
All political/gossip books have a very short shelf life. Never worth the money except for one author, Rush. His books are still relevant from the Clinton era.

“I doubt this. What has likely happened is the same thing with Obama’s books. The vested interest fronted Harry all the money on presumed sales and the real sales are being used to pay back the front mkney. I don’t believe for a second that 1.43 million people bought this book.”

I agree.

Harry’s just a disgusting individual - who would want to be around him now knowing anything you say could be in his next book. Since he betrayed his family betraying anyon else would be a cake walk for that guy....including meghan and her groupies.

My local woke library always seems to have five or six copies of these type of books. Multiply that by libraries across the country and I’ll bet that accounts for hundreds of thousands of sales. Purchased with our tax dollars, of course.
