Yes, unfortunately this also happens in other states. We had a recent incident like in a YMCA in WA state. It involved an elderly woman encountering a male in the woman’s locker room and she was made out to be the villain for speaking out against it. The YMCA banned HER. Pure insanity.
This took place in Santee, a conservative suburb of San Diego. Very blue collar, middle class and red. The young lady spoke at the City Council meeting about 3 days ago. The Mayor and council members are all pretty conservative, but they are also very pro Chamber of Commerce, and sadly the C of C seems to be aligning with the freaks (at least at the state and national level). With the county and state passing laws and policies that give perverts all sorts of extra rights, I'm not sure what the city can do, but I expect they will take some action. People are pissed and there is a rally scheduled at the Y next week to draw more attention to the incident.
