If the ban on fertilizer works then there won’t be many people left that need electricity.
Ditto for vaxxing bees into extinction...
“Renewable” Energy = Perpetual Motion Machines ? LOL
Climate scientists = alchemists
The author needs to consider the possibility that one can drown while fording a river with an average depth of six inches.
Tucker interviewed a lady last night about the increased deaths of whales on the east coast. It is suspected that the intense sonar activity being used probe the seabed for windmills platforms may be the cause.
But the environmentalists who used to care about the whales don’t seem very concerned, because windmills are a good thing.
Yes, we also have too much “renewable” capacity sometimes.
They are trying to build some batteries to store it (very expensive) and they actually build some huge resistors to burn that energy to waste.
Especially that solar cells cannot be easily turned off!
I’m beginning to sense a slight move away from EV’s. Notice the stories about EV 18-wheelers stopping, and the collision concerns? Musk drops the price on Teslas by thousands and p’od customers that had already bought. A small sense of panic in the investment market too regarding Greenies.
I’m against vaccinating bees, but there are over 200,000 species of pollinators.

There is no such thing as ‘renewable’ energy. It can neither be created or destroyed but merely converted from matter to energy and energy to matter...
One could reach 100% renewable energy in your scheme by adding one more source of renewable — water: hydroelectric.
Create a two-level reservoir system of lakes.
Use the periods of excess energy to pump the water from the lower to the upper lake of each pair.
During the periods of low/no wind, etc. produce hydroelectricity as the water flows from upper to lower lake of each pair.
Until we get the lobbyists’ bribes under control, this and other boondoggles will continue. Graft is a crime.
When the wind isn’t blowing (or if it is blowing too hard) and the sun isn’t shining (at night) it doesn’t matter what the nameplate capacity states, the output will be at zero from both “unreliables”. If the storage issue gets figured out, then wind and solar become more viable, but we will always need some sort of reliable power generation.
To your point, it sounds like you already found real world proof that refutes Pollack’s premise anyhow.
Interesting...
I stopped reading at the first mention of the term fossil fuels...
There is no such a thing as a fossil fuel.
Sounds like they are applying Moore’s law to renewables. Get rid of all of the fad alternatives and just go nuclear. Solves all renewable energy issues.
I wrote my Comp III paper on nuclear power in college.
The ignorance on the subject is massive.
Aside from the lack of knowledge is the emotional connection to be against it.
Logic and facts don’t mean anything to an emotional ideologue.
They don’t even care about the protected bald eagle or other raptors that are killed by the hundreds every year, by their windmills. Yet they are lobbying hard to remove electric generating damns to protect the salmon?
His math is flawed in that there is no modifier/multiplier for the value of virtue signaling. It enables that deep, warm inner smugness of being smarter than others.
Since the current trend is to eliminate words from our language, I would like to add ‘renewable’ and ‘sustainable’ to the list.
