Each unique high is like a trip to another place or at least a different mood and mind-set for your place at the moment.
As a former drinker, I can honestly say, I didn't like that place. And I didn't like the toll the trip took on my mind and body.
When you think about it, the pleasure drug industry is just now entering the AI generation. We have only scratched the surface of the kind of inner travel that is available.
As an aside, I'm not condoning or disapproving. My opinion is irrelevant. I will say though that this new age of discovery is filled with danger.
What I am saying is that we are entering a new age of "highs." Many are going to be newly discovered or newly discovered combinations. Some synthetic, some all-natural, and some a blend of both.
To some scientists, consciousness and all its strange iterations are the new frontier.
Yes, true. But I don’t think legalizing it is going to turn the entire nation into high zombies. There’s nothing that special about weed, compared to other drugs (esp alcohol) that leads it to be nearly as big of an impact on society. Sure, you can’t really OD on it, but not that many people are going to imbibe that much anyway. Just like alcohol, sure, lots of people get drunk, but how many actually die from alcohol poisoning? Not that many.
Yes, there’s going to be lots of new and ‘better’ ways to get high, but it’s always going to be like that. You just have to be smart enough to not be stupid. And make sure your kids are smart enough as well.
